Sean Patrick Dahlberg is an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy Award Winning TV/Film Editor who’s worked on projects as diverse as “Sesame Street: Word on the Street”, “Nine Inch Nails: Another Version of the Truth” and “Incubus: Dig”. He graduated from Hofstra University in 2003 with a BA in Film Studies & Production and Psychology. Sean Patrick began his career in post production, over fifteen years ago, working on projects for Sesame Street, Playmates Toys, Budweiser, Armani, 1-800 Flowers and Nickelodeon to name a few. In 2007, Dahlberg formed First and Last Films, bringing together a creative collective that has produced several films. Since that time, Dahlberg has expanded into music video production and live concert events, working with popular acts as Imagine Dragons, Incubus, The Dresden Dolls, Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails. Dahlberg’s first short film, “What Goes Around” received an Honorable Mention at the 2012 NYC Downtown Short Film Festival. Soon after, “What Goes Around” found distribution with Shorts International, an HD cable network dedicated to short films, and is now available on both iTunes and Amazon. Dahlberg also co-produced, co-wrote, directed and edited the short film “Dog Days” which was created in less than 72 hours for the 2013 National Film Challenge. In 2014, Sean Patrick’s short film, “until Death”, had its World Premiere at the Long Island International Film Expo to very positive reviews. The film was Nominated for “Best Long Island Short Film” and took home the prestigious “Jury Award for Best Short Film”. He won two Bronze Telly Awards, in 2014, in the area of digital video content for his work with L’Oreal/Matrix. In 2019, Dahlberg received his first Emmy for his post production work on the documentary, “The NYC Opioid Battle” for Spectrum Networks/NY1. Since that time, he has won nine Emmys and four Edward R. Murrow Awards for his post production work on Digital and Original Programming for Spectrum Networks.
